67 Camaro Heater Control

I have a heater control in a '67 Camaro with the lower lever broken and I have to remove it for repair.

I have the ashtray and radio (which also needs repair) removed and not liking having to remove the cable from either end. Any tips? I find the cables difficult to access especially the slide on connector at the cable end.

Re: 67 Camaro Heater Control

Well I finally got the push on cable end connectors removed and got it out of there. I found one of the arms broken. Will get repaired or replaced.
