How much pag oil in my 67

Hello everyone,
Does anyone know how much oil I need to put in my factory a/c system. All components are new so system is completely dry. I have read the general rule of thumb is 7-10 ounces but I want to be sure. I talked to the local mechanic and his manuals only go back to 1982.

From the 69 Service Manual, can never have too much oil as it collects in the dryer.

Thanks for the input. I'm going with 11 ounces.
