wire my tach.

I have perched a used Sun super tach. X and need help on how to connect the wires correctly. My black wire to ground, Red to 12 Volts, Blue to power for tach light,
I have a Green wire that I think is to go to the coil. However I have electronic ignition, no old school coil. that's where I am lost where do I hook that green wire? My motor is in a sand rail and has a G M - Ecotec VVT 4 cyl eng. but I don't know what year it is.
Any and all help on this mater would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Norm

Re: wire my tach.

First thing you need to figure out is if the tack will work with a 4 cyl engine. Some have a switch 4,6,8 but lots don't!

How did you end up on a 1st gen Camaro forum?
