On a 67 Camaro,,, I have a seam from the bottom of door back to the quarter skin,,,,,my question is? Do I leave it, or fill it in ( prepping for new paint,) Bondo or seam seal
NO Bondo !! That seam can flex. The factory did not use seam sealer. Some guys
do and some don't when restoring. If you do, be sure to use a flexible seam sealer.
Pretty sure he speaking about the seam where the quarter meets the rocker behind the door, which gets seam sealed. The tailpanel/qrt seam under the bumper does not get seam sealed.
That's the seam I also thought he was talking about. I would swear mine was not
sealed originally and I thought it had been discussed before. Anyway mine was
sealed before paint.
