First, welcome to the forum. I see this is your first topic you've posted about. We don't charge by the word so feel free to add more detail to your explanation and I'm sure we can help you get to the bottom of it.
Do you have the harness fully or just partially connected?
Sounds like you may have something connected to ground that should not be.
Pulled fuse, lights went out. Could it be possible it's the emergency flashers? I have no flasher plugged in yet, and just checked, the switch won't move in or out. Thanks.
No, because you said parking lights came on, not the turn signal filaments - two different circuits.
Emergency switch is hard to pull out for ON.
If pulled ON, lights won't light because light power goes through the flasher.
Fuse panel wired wrong.
By unplugging the connector, the turn signal filaments have no power
Parking lights are brown wire to the sockets, comes from headlamp switch, or should.
These two diagrams should help.
If turns are on, then I would suggest two problems:
1. With no emerg flasher fuse panel wired wrong
2. Emerg switch stuck on.
Only way for turns to get power if ign key is not on.
emergency flasher switch was stuck, freed that, parking and taillights now work perfectly. Now no headlights and no power from headlight plugs. I HATE ELECTRICAL
emergency flasher switch was stuck, freed it up and parking lights and taillights work perfectly. NOW headlights don't come on(did before). I HATE ELECTRICAL
