Cut-Out Location Options

I purchased some Magnaflow mufflers hoping they are quieter than the Flowmaster Super 44's that are in the car now. With the current mufflers I don't need cut-outs, haha. My question is this; I can only find a few locations for these cut-outs I have, and one is over the seam between two pipes. The other is really close to the "H"-pipe. Take a look at the picture and tell me what you think. I could get the seal welded before cutting the opening for the cut-out. Is it a problem with putting the cut-outs right in the area of the H-pipe?

Thanks,

Brett.....

P.S; Here are a couple pics of my new valve covers I machined yesterday;
