New and need some help

I've got a 1967 RS Camaro with the 327/4spd, would like to throw some shorty headers on it but the ones I ordered seem like they are not going to fit due to all of the clutch linkage, probably will return them and get the right ones if yall can help me in the right direction. The headers I bought are Hooker Competition Headers 2466HKR. Driver side exhaust manifold seems to drop 90 off the head and 90 back towards the rear of the car. the ones i bought seem to both sweep back. if anyone has any help to offer id appreciate it. TIA

Welcome, Elliot, to the Club.
You might have disassemble the clutch bellcrank and install headers, then install bellcrank.
Just a warning, you will be asked for pictures of your Camaro.

Elliot- There is a solution. There are shorty headers coming to market that have the outlet location of stock log manifolds but have a 2.5" outlet flange so all you need is a stock Big Block head pipe to mate to it. You'll then have a true 2.5" SBC header system without the ground clearance issues or the need for a custom made downtube associated with the shorty headers currently offered. They are stainless and will be around the $350 range. CLASSIC MUSCLE CAR EXHAUST will be offering them soon on their website but call them for more info. They can get a set shipped out immediately.
