45 degrees out and headed to a car show in Greeneville TN

Only supposed to be a high of 48 today but it's a benefit being put on for a former member of our car club who is facing some HUGE medical bills. His son came to our last meeting and asked if we could help him put on this show. Anyone in the area who is looking for something to do, there will be an auction, a bbq dinner and all sorts of other events and the majority will be held indoors due to the weather. Stop by even if it's in your daily driver and support a good cause.

Have a good show Mark! It's 44 degs here right now and I'll be heading out shortly for our annual Toy and Food Drive show... It's going to get up to about 68 here today.

Dennis the thing here is just bad timing. Most of the week it's been in the 60s and last weekend we got close to 70. Unfortunately here in Tennessee it's only going to get colder from here on so rescheduling it wouldn't help. It is what it is. Still alot better weather than when I was in NH.

I am known as "In The Doghouse" over there but I don't post often. I watch the tool deals and troll the New Posts for general discussions.

LOL... Mark it's good timing here, we just had our first heavy storm of the season followed by very high winds then yesterday afternoon the clouds went away and it warmed up.

Even if the day didn't warm up I'd still be in shorts and the ragtop is already down... Make the best of it, I hear the east coast is expecting real bad weather before turkey day!

We are in a little bit of a sweet spot here being very close to the Western side of the Appalachians. Bad weather coming from the West gets diverted around us and the mountains block any nasty stuff coming up the coast.

Re: 45 degrees out and headed to a car show in Greeneville TN

Just got home. Turned out to be a nice day after the clouds burned off but cold. We managed to raise about $1500 which isn't bad considering alot of guys left their hotrods home and just came for the auction in their daily drivers. Managed a third place with the Camaro and spent some quality time hanging out with the other club members. It's a "Rod & Custom" club and the only other member with a Camaro is a lady with a White 69 SS convertible who has owned it since high school. We have a variety of stuff in the club from the 30s to the early 80s. Thanks for the compliments on my view Steve. You guys from NY & CT would probably rather not hear about how my property taxes are $385 a year huh ? LoL One of the reasons we moved here from NH 2 years ago.
