We're going also. Heading over early Friday morning. Meeting up with some friends that are coming down from Ohio. Weather is supposed to be really nice.

not going to make it like we had wanted to. The car is ready, we're not. Shooting for the fall show now. Really want to do the parade lap around the speedway!!

I am going to be leaving at 5:00 A.M. I should be pulling in up there about 8-8:30. I want to avoid all of the black Friday traffic. I leave the same time every year. I get there and then just drive right into the track and register. Can't wait!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Chris and I will be at the AACA car show in Ormond Beach on Saturday with the '69 Camaro. The show is in the park at the corner of John Anderson and Granada Blvd. ( Rt 40) Hope to see some of you there.

The Spring Run is a little smaller than the Turkey Run in November, but definitely worth it if you have never been. The swap meet is better than Ebay!!

Re: Daytona turkey run

As stated, the spring show is a little smaller than the Thanksgiving one, but still very big. Getting a room in Daytona will be a real challenge due to all the spring breakers down at this time.

Re: Daytona turkey run

we're going to try and make it. Going to drive the car a lot this next week to confirm whether it's ready or not. We want to drive it down from Pensacola if possible but not sure if my wife is truly ready for that much time in it or not!! Otherwise we drag the trailer again......

Re: Daytona turkey run

I'm going

I tried to register today for the Car Corral so I could sell my 69 Firebird, only to find out that they sold out the 1900 spots they had.

With the Corral sold out I was luck enough to get a spot where the vendors setup for $140 instead of the $130 for the car corral.

There looks like there are 82 first gen Camaros registered for the car show portion.

I'll be sure and take a lot of pictures and post a link when I get back.
