May 3 - Kingpins @ Hampton Beach, NH

I've done this show with several of the members here in the past and it's always a great show and killer turnout. This is the first time in the new location. Anyone here interested in going?

Re: May 3 - Kingpins @ Hampton Beach, NH

Just found out this morning via the keeper of my social calendar that the prior commitment I have on Sunday doesn't begin until 5:00pm so I can still do this event

But, where are they planning on hosting all of this, that area will be packed with people and daily drivers and with the size of this event in the past, I can't figure out where there is space there to pull it off?

Good to hear you can make it Scott!
I wonder if theyll use that pay lot in back across the street that is used for concert parking?

Being early will be to our benefit i think.

Re: May 3 - Kingpins @ Hampton Beach, NH

I just took a satellite view using Google (https://www.google.com/maps/place/D+...12057ae7?hl=en) and they Casino has a shared parking lot behind it but there is no way there will be enough room there. The pay lot across the street isn't really that large either. Maybe Phil can touch base with Richie B. who is a Kingpins member and find out what their plan is, I'll send him a request and ask him to post back in this thread...

Re: May 3 - Kingpins @ Hampton Beach, NH

The 2 parking lots will be bigger then the area in Salem last year. But it will be very difficult to get out from one way roads and normal high traffic this time of year. Is there some kind of sign in or is it just show up?

Re: May 3 - Kingpins @ Hampton Beach, NH

Actually, Richie B. was in our shop Monday and I asked him about this. His son actually runs it (also Richie B.), not the Dad. He didn't know a lot about it, but planned on being there. However, Joe Anger, one of the club's members was at our show on Saturday and was talking about it. He described to us that the show was actually on the beach side. He described entering through the divided road area where all of the pizza shops are, headed toward the ocean, then taking a right.

By his description, and the flyer that says that you enter on "D Street", it looks to me like it would be in the long series of parking lots along the ocean. It looks like there is a series of 6 lots, holding about 50 cars each.

Re: May 3 - Kingpins @ Hampton Beach, NH

Let's figure out who is interested in meeting up beforehand and cruising in together, that way we can park together.

I'm assuming that Tom, CJ and I will caravan up from Boston?

Kevin, I just googled your location (Bad Roads, MA) and the whole state of Mass. showed up!

I don't know the area, but I'm sure Tom will have an idea of where we can meet up. Don's up there, maybe he'll have coffee and donuts (and bikini girls???) waiting for us?

Re: May 3 - Kingpins @ Hampton Beach, NH

We have a house in Seabrook, right across the bridge from Hampton. I wish I could make it, but I live 800 miles away now. You guys shouldn't have any parking issues. Hampton has a ton of parking lots. The ones up by the ocean were just re-done a couple of years ago. They did a real nice job. I think they're trying to clean out all the thug wannabes etc. that started coming up. This time of year traffic shouldn't be bad. It's not until Memorial Day and after that Hampton gets slammed. Even then it's not like it used to be. I remember back ups to Salisbury. It was great as a kid, but not so much when you're an adult trying to get somewhere.

Re: May 3 - Kingpins @ Hampton Beach, NH

Maybe we can meet where we did last time in Salisbury right off 95. I heard CJ might be trailering the gasser, if he needs a place to park the trailer he can leave it at my house.

Dave- I didn't know you were from the area. Too bad you won't be around, this show is a lot of fun.
