Sandown, NH Daytona 500 Party

Okay guys, I know it's still 46 days away, but I want to make sure that you have it on your calendars.

Details:

When: Sunday, February 21st
Time: Noon - 5:00ish
Location: My house (Private message me if you need my address)
Attendance: Spouses encouraged to attend
What do you need to bring? Nothing
We provide: Food & beverage

...This year we will do an optional race "pool" to make the racing interesting. $10 per person with all proceeds going to the person with the highest finishing driver. Driver names will be drawn from a hat.

Who's in?

Phil

Re: Sandown, NH Daytona 500 Party

I'm pretty sure I'm in. Great time last year, and the race pool is a good idea to keep it interesting.

Ditto to what Brent said, I believe Kathleen will be coming along as well. I've still got the "Clutch" DVD that we didn't get around to watching last year if you want me to bring it along?

Sounds good scott. Bring it and when the race gets boring (about 5 minutes in) we can switch to the movie.

I was waiting for a comment about not being organized with the hat/drawing process for the racing "pool," so either you are biting your tongue or you missed a great opportunity.

Phil

Then I'll bring the DVD along in case we do get the opportunity to watch it, there are some cool old school first gens in it though they are a bit on the rough side as I remember them.

As far as not commenting on the slip up (I mean your screw up LOL) with the hat/drawing during the Christmas Yankee Gift Swap that cost me the best gift there (in my opinion), I've said my peace on that and will instead use the knowledge and history of that gift swap to make sure nothing similar can take place at the Daytona 500 Party. In other words, you're organization and execution of this new event will be checked, double checked, re-checked, etc. You get the idea right?
