Good Guys - Pleasanton

Wondering if anyone is heading to Good Guys - Pleasanton?

I've never brought a car down, any words of wisdom for a rookie?

Re: Good Guys - Pleasanton

I went to the Indy 500 GoodGuys show in 2015. As someone campaigning a purely stock 1st gen Camaro, when it came to judging I felt my car was overlooked because it was stock. I am not looking to go back because I believe the hot rods have a big edge over the stock restoration.

Re: Good Guys - Pleasanton

I'll most likely be there.
I mainly go to watch the autocross, then the swap, and the cars for sale area is entertaining.

I've pretty much seen every car at the "show" multiple times,so I don't wonder around the show area much.

Re: Good Guys - Pleasanton

Not for nothing but I don't think you need to worry about being a rookie. Let's rewind to last week's unveiling - you won 1st place in your category and got yourself on tv. Whatever you did there, I would say, "wash, dry repeat"
