I've observed the same thing. I went to a large swap meet a couple of weekends ago and nearly every attendee and seller was baby boomer generation or older, few kids. I guess the younger set only likes front wheel drive cars with bumble bee exhausts and big stereos or are happy to spend the day playing with their phone or video game of choice, no mechanical interests or skills whatsoever. Doesn't bode well for the future of the hot rod/muscle car hobby or the future value of these cars. A lot of the cars (not all) rolling through the BJ and Mecum auctions don't even bring the cost of the paint and interior work and those don't seem to be purchased by younger guys; very sad.
