Can anyone tell me the orientation of the light bulbs in the instrument cluster. Turn signals , high beam Etc, And possibly a photo of the back side of the instrument cluster with orientation?

John, do you have a bulb out? You access the bulbs by taking the lens off, 4 screws each (2 upper and 2 lower). Once the lens is off you can pull the bayonet bulbs out and replace. The lens (left for speedo, right for tach) have white assemblies screwed on that have acetate strips with the "turn, brake, oil, etc" letters on them in which the bulb shines thru.

They are: left turn, fuel, brake, bright. Then: gen, temp, oil, right turn

Re: 1969 z28

AH, that is a different question!

The bulb that illuminates the gauges is under a plate which has a green acetate filter on it. Two screws get it off, I think you can replace bulb from the gauge opening (once lens is off). Take the speedo lens off and on the upper top is the black bulb plate.

For the bleed, once lens is off, inspect the white indicator lights holder (separate piece that screws in the rear of the lens). Yours might be broken, missing or the acetate labels may be askew.
