have any noticed some camaros that has some new rear springs set high in the back,i have seen car shows where owner ordered new rear springs and put them on and car was jacked up in back,he later ordered more springs and car was setting normal, they gave no info on where they ordered springs from the first set,who makes the best rear springs to get correct hight on car.
Yes, many of us have encountered the new oem correct looking leaf springs raise the rear significantly. I placed two 5 gallon buckets of sand in trunk and another where the rear seat would reside and after some time the leaf springs settled in nicely.
After 50+ years, springs will sag. So, if you put in new springs that meet the original specs it is going to raise the back of the car above where it currently is.
