A bit of Concept history...

Back in July I got to display my '69 ragtop with the concept ragtop for 3 days at the San Francisco Rev It Up (Chevrolet made 6 stops across the country and let people autocross race prep'd Cobalts and Vettes). Today I got a package and a nice letter from the Rev It Up folks thanking me for sharing my car. In the package was a framed print of an unpublished rendering that was used during the inception and design of the concept Camaro. How cool is that? Sorry about the reflection in the glass...

That looks nice. I think I would prefer the concept they are showing now, but that looks nice as well.

Re: A bit of Concept history...

Thanks DY- I too like the car they came up with better but knowing this drawing was part of the evolution of the design of the concept is what I find cool about it.

Not the best, everything was rush rush to get things set up on Friday and then it all came down about 10:00pm Sunday night...

Is that picture titled "69 Camaro swallows 54 Corvette"? J/K I like the width of the grille on that one much better than the real concept. I would have asked the quartet to stand by the concept as to not block the view of the better looking of the two Camaros.

Re: A bit of Concept history...

Dennis I bet more people were looking at your car than the concept.
