Hmm, well it looks like the B-Pillar design isn't terrible - I am now a little more optimistic!

I think they need to tint the crap out of those quarter windows though

What's with the funky paint jobs you always see on prototype test cars?

Those photospies Hans and Christa Lehman must sit outside the GM gates in the undergrowth, and just wait till these test cars come out onto the road....they are always in the right place....

Re: Newest (and best) photos of Camaro prototype from Australia testing

Looks smaller than the early Prototype which is what I've read. I saw the Transformer version in Charlotte and it was way bigger than a Mustang. Maybe just the camo, who knows.

I do have to agree.
From the side looks like a misshapen Beama..and they are ugly
The new Camaro will not go down as a classic car...
like the 46 ford, 56 ford, stingray, 1st gen camaro, viper, e type

So Holden obsoleted the Monaro/vauxelle in UK...well GM US did
Does this mean Holden Camaro?

They would have been far better off using the Monaro for the US Camaro.

Yep...they just had to make changes to the nose, change the cam and a few minors..jst enough to kill it.

I don't think an import Camaro will catch on. Just like the GTO didn't. Just my .02.

The Camaro was... and will be... made in Canada.
Technically, they've been imports for quite some time.

The Transformer car is actually a reskinned Holden, not a true Camaro.

yeah would agree with that too
I used to have a hq monaro (69) and my 69 camaro..
The camao body interior shape etc far better car, but the Aussie made and designed sb, was a far better power plant...small things like aged blocks, the dizzy curve and cam made a better musle car out of the Monaro.
There are heap of interchangeable parts between the 1st gen camaros and hk and hq holdens...even into the hz.

I think they paint them that way so you cant distinguish and body lines. The confusing paint makes it hard to see the cars lines. Also why they are covered in the front and back.
