Would you buy this if it was a hybrid?

They have got to make it look like Camaro before they call it one that is no where close to a first gen car

I'd bet a lot of guys are still mad about carbs going away, LOL.

Bring it.

How about a modern diesel? I heard that one too.

Re: 2010 Camaro Hybrid?

I have my '67 for brute gas power, I'd love to see a Camaro option built with this car as an inspiration;

Neither did the 2nd gen or the 3rd gen or the 4th gen...oh wait, the 5th gen has some similarities. Should we petition GM to change the name of the any non-first gen to something non-Camaro? How about "The vehicle formerly known as Camaro"?

Re: 2010 Camaro Hybrid?

I would never buy anything that has anything to do with the term hybrid. And I don't know anyone who would. Who is trying to force these things on us?

BTW - I drool over the new Camaro...

LOL... They do it because a good part of the buying population is asking for it. Nobody is trying to force anything on us...

Re: 2010 Camaro Hybrid?

Too much excess. Weight, cost, technology, long term repair costs. And I can just imagine how it would get repaired/serviced at my local dealer, sawdust and big hammers. Let's keep the Camaro pure.

Re: 2010 Camaro Hybrid?

I didn't give my opinion on the hybrid in my other post. I'd rather them use the chasis, and whatever, and make another car for a hybrid. I really don't want to see a hybid with the Camaro named attached to it. But then, I don't really want to see a Camaro w/ a 6 cyl either, but I know it has to happen.

Edit: That being said, I wouldn't be upset if they made one. It's not really THAT big of a deal.
