'09 Camaro Mule spotted in Tampa, FL

My buddy came across this pre-production '09 Camaro over lunch today. Apparently, they brought the car to Florida for some testing in humid climates.

The dash looks a little different I think? Looks great!! I love the hitch!! Also that white tube sticking out of the front grill, What's that?

Poor thing has a little curb rash on that front wheel.

I would think they are putting miles on the car for durabilty and they tow a trailer with equipment and supplies with them. It most likey has other uses for hooking up evaluation equipment and other stuff.

It's all speculation on my part but it would be cool to know 'why' it's there.

Why? just to know of course

Can you ask them for us Joe?

I also like that option of a Miniature HellFire Missile Launcher !!

I said COMMON FOR TESTING

Joe Harrison summed it up. I've read automakers use it for things like hauling equipment or even load testing. Who knows.

On a test mule like these nothing really suprises me.
