Cold air intake for 2010 Camaaro SS

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a cold air intake for my 2010 Camaro ss. there are a few to choose from. leaning toward K&N Typhoon, Gen 5 camaro Racing (G5CR) or Breathless Performance Rammer Induction System. Can anyone recommend a good CAI my the 2010 Camaro SS. Any and all comments are welcome.

I think, for me the best cold air intake is the K&N cold air intake.. It is my trusted brand of all brand of air intakes.

IMO the best CAI for price, performance, installation and looks is the Airaid 250-243. It uses the OE cold air scoop for grabbing as much cold air as it can from the front of the grill. Click Here for a install photo Click Here for dyno results.

We have installed and sold many of these CAI's from Airaid, everyone of our customers has been happy with the product!!!

Please feel free to call, email or PM me anytime for questions or pricing. We meet or beat anyone's prices.

Re: Cold air intake for 2010 Camaaro SS

Hey guys. I was told by the service manager were i got my 2010 Camaro 2SS/RS from, that a cold air intake or any other after market performance parts will void my warranty. That's kind of hard to believe. I wanted to install a CAI and Catback for my Camaro but i don't want to void my warranty. Thinking of installing a CAI myself and just putting the stock air filter back on if i ever need to have service done on my Camaro. Will a CAI trigger any codes if i install it myself with out a tune. The one that i'm looking to get says no computer tune required. K&N Tyhoon 69-4519TP.

Hello,

That is completely a not true statement from your dealer. We have installed hundreds or CAI's, cat-back system, LT's High flow midded cats and even Superchargers for our customers and dealerships.

The only time you need a tune is when you go to long tube headers and high flow cats. CAI's and cat-back systems will not throw a code.

The law that protects you as a car owner is called the Magnuson act.

Please feel free to call, email or PM me anytime with questions or for pricing.

The stock intake is K&N, I personally went with the typhoon
polished K&N CAI. It doesn't void warranty, even has a
Sticker that says "will not void warranty". It sounds awesome, acceleration is better, nice deep roar.

I would look into Airraid (no air scoop needed) or CAI (the brand) . Of course, you can also consider Vararam if you want to free up space where you CAI would go. Plus, you would not have to run the $80 air scoop to make your CAI more efficient.
