Just got my 2011 camaro 2ss, a new member here and got a few questions

Just got my camaro ss on Monday and I love the car. My car is inferno orange with the orange and black interior and I wanna put a new exhaust on my car and tint the windows. I was thinking either a flowmaster or a borla. What do you guys think and how dark should I go on the windows?

Thanks
Boban

Have you looked at the Corsa system? What level of tint in allowed in your state? 35% looks good and you can see out in the dark!

I vote Borla. Check state safety laws/rules first. Some states have a no tint for the front windows and windshield.
Welcome to the Club, Boban. Nice ride, enjoy it.

Thanks guys for responding and have any of you guys heard a flowmaster super 44 on these new camaros yet? I put the flowmaster super 44 exhaust on my Durango and it's got a nice deep tone and it sounds mean. I was thinking limo or a step under.

Re: Just got my 2011 camaro 2ss, a new member here and got a few quest

Michigan has a sweet tint law....no limit whatsoever on light transmission, just a maximum of 35% reflectivity.

I've had Borla on a couple of vehicles. Sound and fit are always top notch with a price to match ha ha.

Boban,

Sounds like a great color combo. We’d like to add a vote for a Flowmaster exhaust system. It’s an easy install you can do at home , it’s stainless steel, and it’s priced right.

On the tint, find out what’s too dark for the local police and go a shade lighter.

Hey guys im on flowmasters website and I'm just looking at the street mufflers and my car has two but they only offer one type of the super 44 with the inlet and outlet one way. Could you flip it so it fits the other side? I had people tell me yes but I always thought you couldn't.

They are directional as in one tube is the inlet and the other tube is the outlet. As far as orientation, they can be installed rotated however you please.
