Student Driver

I sure wish my drivers ed would have had something as cool as this.... What I found funny and odd was he had a radar detector attached to the windshield. Really what kind of example is he teaching the student driver?

Re: Student Driver

Not sure how it works in OK, but I think you can get signs like this here in IL when you son/daughter is learning how to drive. So that means it's not a "Driver's Ed car but Dad's private ride. I think it's unfortunate that you weren't able to take your driving test in a 69 Camaro like I did.

Re: Student Driver

Reminds me of my own driver training, we had brand new V8 Chevelles show up at the school donated by the local Chevy dealer.

Re: Student Driver

Our DE class had a Chevette. Pretty terrifying in the backseat when it came time for those who had no business behind the wheel!

WHAT?!?! I took drivers ed in a 2 tone blue Ford Fairmont. I think I've been discriminated against.

Re: Student Driver

yes here in Oklahoma any MOM and POP can take a test and become a private student driver instructor and they charge an arm and leg to teach your kid or another adult.... I think this one is a write off on taxs
