2012 ZL1 = 9's

On Friday 5/11/12 Livernois Motorsports made the trip to Milan Dragway on a quest to be the first to put a 2012 ZL1 Camaro into the 9 second zone. With several 10.0 passes Dan Millen owner of Livernois motorsports decided to let the potent machine cool down then history was made. with a 1.54 60ft time 6.41 to the 1/8th at 111.36 MPH and finishing the 1320 with a time of 9.879 at 142.42MPH.

details to follow.....

That's a lot of MPH for that ET. These new cars do perform and make power.

Re: 2012 ZL1 = 9's

Very cool and props to them, but calling it anything other than a race car would be a stretch I think, I saw the modifaction list somewhere and it's extensive, thats just the stuff they are telling us about too..

I dig it don't get me wrong, but when someone actually buys one and it is no where near that fast(they are going to be production based I believe?), they will be unhappy. I wonder how much it cost to go high 9's in that thing?
