Re: Saw this while eating

yep that's the new trend see it a lot around here & in Lexington KY.i saw a 2006 vette with a set on a super nice red vette.wheels made car look like a jacked up 4-wheel drive.tried to get a pic but lost car in traffic.how they got those wagon wheels on car ill never know.looks to me like if you want a 4-wheel drive buy a truck.

Re: Saw this while eating

See them all the time here in Atlanta- on everything from 70's/80's Monte Carlos, Impalas and Caprices, to trucks/SUV's. Probably the worst one I saw was an absolutely beautiful 69 Cutlass Convertible that had been wrecked by putting a set of those wheels and a green metalflake paintjob on it.

Re: Saw this while eating

Not only did i loose my appetite i got the dry heaves, that is absolutely an abomination to any car as far as i am concerned. You guy,s already know how i feel about those terrible oversize wheels.I will even go a bit further on this one. IMHO Chevrolet really screwed up on the Camaro redesign. Chrysler and Ford did a much better job, i really like the Challenger and the Mustang / Cobra.I never thought ,i would see the day that i did not like a new Camaro , but i just can,t warm up to the new design no matter from wich angle i look at it. The front end is not too bad but the rear quartes and the back are just awfull to me TMHO. Harley EARLE must have blown his stack from the grave on this one. I would bet if he were alive today the new Camaro would not have come out the way it did.Alex

Sorry for ruining everyone's appetite lol but I just had to share this it was so ugly I couldn't stop staring at it!!! It just sucked me in. I know everyone has the right to do whatever they want to their car but I just don't understand it this was almost as high as a pick up smh.

Re: Saw this while eating

I've seen 60's Muscle Cars done up as a Donk (latest was a 68 GS400 on 24's) and I didn't care for them either...

Re: Saw this while eating

Yeah I don't get it either. I went the Champaign, IL stop of the Hot Rod Power Tour and they had some 30" rims on display. They had a 315/35? tire on it and it looked tiny.
