Bought one..

Well, my ProStreet 69 has a new little brother. Last week I traded in my 2006 Trailblazer SS in and picked up a 2012 2SS/RS 6 speed Camaro. I'm sure I'll "tinker" with is a bit but nothing too crazy. Here's a quick cell phone picture.. I'll have to take some better pictures at some point. I had the windows tinted since this picture was taken.

Nice looking Camaro, that home looks to be nice one also!! The block work and entry appear to be very nice.

Thanks guys.. The block work better be nice for what it cost me.. Lol.. Last year the wife got some really nice block walls (3 in all).. And this year I got the Camaro. I snuck the new one in the garage with it's big brother but was booted out by the wife. Can't be greedy and have both spaces in the garage. I did get a quick picture of the brothers, I'll post it later.

It's easier to just add a second 'Double' right alongside the original - you'll fill it eventually

I wish... No can do.. The garage is below ground level but more importantly the property line is only about 10 feet past the side the 69 sits on.

Re: Bought one..

Congrats on the buy, looks nice.
Both rides look nice.
Center support pole, any pipe insulation around it for door protection?

Don't really need any protection on the pole. BUT... for extra insurance, that's an inexpensive fix and not a bad idea. The pole is out reach of the 69 and you don't really pull up far enough forward or over to the left far enough to catch the door on when you're parked on the right side of the garage. The 2012 is over further than it has to be in that picture. The drivers side mirror comes close and can hit if a car is parked too far foward and too far to the left. My new Camaro won't see much garage time as my wife parks her 2011 MDX there. She's pretty careful when she parks it. I only get half of the garage.... LOL.

Re: Bought one..

I was gonna mention the pole also. The new cars have such thin metal. My daughter has a 2011 SS camaro. Nice car.

You did not want a white and orange strip camaro to match your 69?

Re: Bought one..

Very nice Mark... you are spoiled with camaro toys. How is the 69 running? I hope to be back on the road soon with mine. Lots of overseas travel has made the progress slow.
