"Flowtie" to replace Bowtie on 2014 Z/28

Coming soon on the new Z/28, a hollow bowtie emblem to improve airflow.
I guess every little bit helps, but it took this long to figure that out?

Keep in mind modern cars have very little open grill area to begin with so a little extra airflow through the radiator core can make a noticeable difference. Mind you the 2 degrees change is not likely to amount to any driver noticeable performance increase but it makes good advertising hype. The "Flowtie" story is cropping up everywhere you go on the internet that is automotive related... Chevrolet can't beat the press!

If nothing else it looks better than that solid emblem. No bowtie and a Z emblem on the LH side would look even better.
