Fire Extinguisher Bracket

OK ... so after putting out 4 car fires in my driving life, and I seeing a further 4 or 5 burn to the ground ... I am a real stickler for having a fire extinguisher in every one of my cars.

I made the bracket below for my 2011 blown 2SS ... It bolt to the front of the seat rails on either the driver's side or passenger side. Keeps the extinguisher within easy reach but out of the way aesthetically.

I've had a few people ask me if I'd make one for them too ... so I have been busy in the garage knocking these out. I have been painting them flat black, and supplying them with stainless steel allen head bolts and nyloc nuts.

I designed it to fit a fire extinguisher from Kragen's/O'Reilly's, which bolts straight in: http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...e+extinguisher

I'm about to make another batch for a few people ... please PM me if you are interested.

I just hate the idea of modified cars running around without extinguishers ... so I'm making it my mission to fix the problem with as many Gen 5 Camaros as possible!

I apologize in advance to the moderators if they think this should be in the classified section ... I'm just concerned that people don't think about having an extinguisher until it's too late ... so I want to put the idea in as many people's heads as possible ... whether they buy my bracket or not!

Re: Fire Extinguisher Bracket

Guys I know this is a bit older post but thought I would chime in on it for future reads and info. We manufacture an extinguisher bracket for Gen 5 Camaro. It's made in USA out of aircraft grade aluminum and hard anodized black finish. They install in either the driver or passenger side seat. The install takes less then 10 minute and requires no modification. We only sell the Halgaurd (Halon replacement)
