LSA Supercharger for 2014 1LE?

Hi All,

I mistakenly posted this elsewhere the first time. I am considering a LSA 1.9 supercharger on my 2014 1LE. The dealer will honor the majority of the factory warranty. Any thoughts? Expected power improvement? I am aware that the 2014 1LE has the ZL1 fuel pump, tranny and clutch. Any other issues I should be aware of?

Re: LSA Supercharger for 2014 1LE?

If warranty is your biggest concern, I wouldn't even mess with the car until factory warranty runs out. Sure, it's easy for a dealership to tell you they'll honor the warranty if you get certain GM parts, but it's GM's decision as to whether or no a warranty claim will be covered. I'm waiting for the factory warranty to run out on my Escalade so I can add a 2.9L whipple s/c kit to it. There's something to be said about a 7,000 pound vehicle going 0-60 in 4.4 seconds, or maybe even less. Okay, so there are other "SUVs" out there that are a bit faster, but they don't weigh 7,000 lbs, and they can't haul nearly as many passengers and combined cargo as the Escalade ESV can. Going to do the same for my 2015 2SS convertible ... wait for factory warrant to be gone, then build the monster up

I have an SLP supercharger on my 2010 SS with a 3.2 inch pulley. I have no complaints at all, but like stated above if warranty is something you want to keep, I'd wait until it expires.
