2010 Camaro suspension issue

I have a 2010 Camaro V6 with 70K miles. I have an issue when driving at speed and hit a dip n the road the car will bounce side to side "left to right". I did replace the rear struts/shocks with new GM replacements and still has the same results.

Any ideas on how I can resolve this problem?

Thanks TC

Re: 2010 Camaro suspension issue

Have you looked at your sway bars front/rear? I have a G8 and in the G8 forums folks report the sway bars have a habit of braking and since they G8 is built on the same platform as the Camaro...You also might want to look at all the bushings in the suspension system and rear end to see if they have too much play. That's just a guess but where I would start.

Re: 2010 Camaro suspension issue

I have a 2010 as well and sort of get what you are saying at times as well and I recall that it may be similar to the known issue with having such wide front tires that catch groves in the road. Also consider the alignment as when weight is taken off one of the tires it wants to grab with the other tire (this should be obvious with uneven wear on the tire)

Sounds like alignment or sway bars to me. I have a 2010 SS and have spent plenty of time working on the suspension to get it right.
