Re: Mileage and exhaust

I have a tech question? I have a 2013 SS Camaro with an automatic. Can I get better gas mileage with installing glass pack muffler system and open air filter?

Re: Mileage and exhaust

Hey Jeff
I also have an automatic Camaro. A cold air intake or even just a KN filter will help a little bit mpg wise if you keep your foot out of it but not to the point I think you would notice a whole lot. However its a nice little bump in performance. You will notice a difference. The exhaust wont really do to much. Id suggest going with American Racing Pure thunder it has no drone and sounds insane at wide open throttle. ARH X pipe too
I used cold air inductions cai, imo its the best option because its sealed and uses a ceramic tube. Since we turbo charged my car its gets the best mpgs its ever gotten in normal driving i get 24-25 mpgs on the hwy easy. However If you get into the boost its like some one shot a hole in my gas tank.

If you have any 5thgen related questions feel free to PM me. Me and my buddys have seen quite a bit in the last 6 years.
