Cat delete & tune

Hello all,
I have a few questions.
1. Does a 2011 Camaro RS have a plate on the bottom of the cats that you can take off to hollow out the cats, or are the cats welded?
2. If I were to hollow my cats, do I need a tune?
3. How much would a tune cost?
4. Where would I get a tune at, just any local shop?

1. Does a 2011 Camaro RS have a plate on the bottom of the cats that you can take off to hollow out the cats, or are the cats welded?NO

2. If I were to hollow my cats, do I need a tune? Yes to turn off rear O2s

3. How much would a tune cost? $200-$400

4. Where would I get a tune at, just any local shop? Custom Shop with HP Tuners or other tuning equipment.

Now. Why would you want to hollow out the Cats?

If some douche bag cop were to pull me over and charge me for not having cats.

So you're trying to break the law and not get caught?

Nice.

So what is your desired goal by gutting the cats?
