bulb replacement

Hello I have a 2010 Camaro RS and my fog light went out yesterday. I went to the auto parts store and got one for $27 and it didn't fit. The looked it up and couldn't find any other size for it. Does anyone know what other size I can use? I bought the Phillips 12086 bulb and it doesn't screw in like the original. Thanks

Re: bulb replacement

What's wrong with getting it from GM Parts?

Re: bulb replacement

Agree with Mark, 2010 Camaro...you should be able to go right to a dealer and buy that bulb.

Re: bulb replacement

Sounds like the counter jockey picked the wrong part from the parts finder.
2010 Camaro Fog Light – NON-RS part number = 5202 or for RS it is part number P13W according to Chevrolet. So you need P13W

Re: bulb replacement

well not the dealer option tho.......long story short the dealer diagnosed($150) my "timing belt" needed replacing for $5500 took it to another mechanic and he said the remote/key wasnt sending a signal to ignition bought new remote/key programmed it car started right up so dont trust dealer anymore.

Re: bulb replacement

You've at least learned a life lesson. Stay the hell away from dealers. The service manager and the mechanics all work on hourly or salary PLUS commissions on everything that they can talk you into. Be very aware!
