Fuel rail question for my LS1 swap

Hello,
I bought a complete pullout, 2004 Corvette LS1 engine to put in my 68 Camaro convertible. Do I need to change the fuel rails or can I use what I have? I will be using an EFI fuel tank with internal fuel pump and regulator...

The LS1 fuel rail will be fine.

What tank are you running? Pump? and how are you returning fuel to the EFI tank?

I guess that is my specific question. How do I make a return line? I have not bought the tank yet but I'm looking at a self contained EFI unit with internal pump..

I can tell you what I'll be using for my swap (take my advise at face value, I've never done one before but I have done hours and hours of research)

I'll be using this tank (with their in tank pump and sender):

As well as this fuel line/regulator kit:

That should get you a tank with a pump, a regulator, and all of the hoses and connection necessary to get from the tank to your fuel rail and back to the tank again.

That is the best and most cost effective way to go. However tanks inc fuel line kit costs about double what you can do buying the parts and lines from other vendors.

You use the same fuel rails, get the Walbro pump from Tanks Inc, it puts 60psi at the
fuel rails. Get the fuel pressure regulator and filter shown in this post. You don't need
to run a long return line to the front of the car, just a short one back from regulator
to tank. Russell fittings makes a good and safe connector to the fuel rail from your
an6 fittings. Just finished a ls2 swap into a 71 Camaro, runs great. Hope this helps

Maybe I haven't done enough looking but they're nice enough to put the list of part numbers that are included on their site and I can't come close to the price putting it together myself. Do you have a list of part numbers and a vendor that can put together something similar for a better price?

That's a very fair price for those parts. The Russell twist-lok fuel hose is expensive, probably $100 right there. You might be able to do it cheaper with different brands, but I don't think you can beat TanksInc pricing using Russell brand. I could be wrong.

That was my thought as well. The line is about $100. The regulator is 80-90 as well. $50-60 for all the an fittings and adapters seems like a good deal.

I bought a Tanks inc tank from Ebay great price and free shipping. The biggest issue I ran into was that I ordered some of the wrong fittings for the hoses and had to get replacements locally. But it was an easy install.
