Fuel Tanks

I am trying to decide a direction on my Camaro, Return to stockish with mini tubs, or leave 1980's frame rails and BIG wheel tubs. I've been reading a lot about mini tubs both with and without notching the frame. What is everyone using for fuel tanks when keeping the leaf spring suspension? Can the stock tank be used with offset shackles? seems to be mixed info some say yes, some say no. Figured I'd find out from the guys that have done it.

Re: Fuel Tanks

The stock tank cannot be used with offset shackles. You need a narrow tank. Ricks Hotrods has them.

haven't decided yet, I have an unmolested 1970 350 that will most likely end up in it for the time being. Eventually it will be a big block. either direction I will use fitech throttle body unit
