70s Camaro Heating System

Will a 1978 Camaro heater system (core, motor, casing, controls) work in a 1976 camaro? I would think it would. Someone out there, please let me know!

I wish I could give you a definitive answer, but I would think they would be the same.

If no solid answers here try www.nastyz28.com.

Re: 70s Camaro Heating System

Thanks for the link, but the NastyZ28 site did not have any intel. that I could find. I've got a junkyard willing to sell me the whole heater setup off a 78 but wanted to know for sure before I spent the money if at all possible.

Re: 70s Camaro Heating System

OK, I found out a 78 heater will not work. So my next question is how compatible do you guys think a pontiac firebird heater would be for a camaro? If compatible, this might widen options in my search. thanks
