Anyone buy subframe connectors from them? I have been waiting for my connectors I ordered for over 3 months. It was the beginning of October when I ordered them. And still nothing. I called a few times and he always says they should be coming this week. He says they are at the powder coaters. The only reason I'm putting up with this is because I have heard they are great connectors. And the price is good. He seems nice, but this is rediculous. Plus he should offer me a discount or something.

You posted this in the 1st gen brake and suspension forum. You might have better luck getting some replies if you get a moderator to move this to the 2nd gen forum or ask on a more 2nd gen specific site.

Re: www.pro-touringf-body.com

The frame connectors I ordered are for a 1968 camaro. I don't know why my post was moved to here.

My understanding is that site is exclusively 2nd gen... I'm sure the moderator that moved this thread was trying to help based on that.

Based on their website it seems like the gen 2 owners would be more likely to know anything about the place than anyone else.

Re: www.pro-touringf-body.com

PTFB has gotten a horrible reputation on NastyZ28.com lately. You might have been better off ordering it from a better/different source. Sucks because I have some of PTFB's parts on my 70 and would by more but now I'm a little leery.

They're mostly 2nd gen, but do sell some 1st gen parts. I looked at them, but never ordered anything from them.

Re: www.pro-touringf-body.com

Check here, most of his customers are on this forum: http://www.nastyz28.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=70
Dave is a nice guy but there have always been complaints about slow delivery and hard to get ahold of. I understand he's a one man shop.

Keith Smith is a guy I trust for parts: http://www.customworksperformance.net/
I am also partial to Ride Tech who can supply most anything. http://www.ridetech.com/

Re: www.pro-touringf-body.com

Go with Keith and Customworks. He's very experienced with the 2nd gen and works fast.

The dude running PTFB has no problem taking your money but getting anything in return for your payment seems like a hit or miss.

I got my connectors. They look real nice. It took alittle longer than i would have liked. But all is good.
