bbc starter

Will a sbc high torque starter fit a bbc???.

Depends on flywheel/flexplate size it is designed for vs. what your BB has.
Unless it happens to be a 'dual' pattern aftermarket starter.

They are one in the same. 168 tooth staggered bolt pattern. The 97 Tahoe mini-starter is a good upgrade.

Just wasn't sure which starter he had ... if it was a 'small' 153 type then it wouldn't work ...

And the 90's Tahoe starter is an excellent choice.
Very reliable and compact, I use on lots of marine applications.
