Upper Radiator Support Dimensions

Can anyone give me these dimensions for a 70-81 upper radiator support / cover? I would like to use something like this to hold my 4th gen radiator in place in my 67. Thanks.

Re: Upper Radiator Support Dimensions

Mine on my 70 Z28 will work with rubbers for either SB or BB rad. I have a 4 core in my 70 Z28 and bought both upper and lower GM BB rubber rad supports. It's 27-1/2" wide from the middle edge. Widest edge where the mount holes are is 28-3/4. Vertical is 5-7/8 on the deepest and 4-3/4 on the shallow depth. The center part where the depth is short is where my shroud fits. All 70-81 are this way. My Web site is out out of order so I had to search for pics.

Re: Upper Radiator Support Dimensions

Awesome, thanks. I noticed there were two part numbers available for it, one for BB and one for SB? Since yours fits both, I guess you have a BB version? I just measured, and it's a little wide on the 28" dimension, but would be perfect on the 5" dim. Maybe someone has dimensions for the SB version? Thanks so much.

Re: Upper Radiator Support Dimensions

Mine is orig to my 70 Z28.
The 70-72 Z28 used part # 3973904 and so did the 396.

Re: Upper Radiator Support Dimensions

Just wanted to update for anyone that comes across this thread in a search.. I finally got around to doing this. I ordered the small block version of the 70-81 upper support, and it worked out great. Looks factory. The flange on the motor side fits perfectly between some fins on the top of my 98-02 F-body fan shroud. Just had to match drill 3 holes in the rad support, and bolt it down.
