My 1970 Z28 flogged on the Autocross track

Been wanting to Autocross for a long time but didn't want to flog my 68.
Sooo, got a non numbers 70Z and been doing suspension and drive train upgrades for about 6 months.

Been to the Autocross test track twice now and having a BLAST!
Here a video of last weekend.

Gulf Coast AutoCrossers at Buckingham Airfield ~ Fort Myers, Florida
Welcome to GCAC

Looks like a little over 2 hrs drive for you, takes me 1.5 hrs from Sarasota.
Their web site has some great aerial views of the track.
I'm only on my second visit, the group has been very helpful and every one
has a great time.
I've not yet run the full course which is on Sunday and uses the full runway,
Saturday is Test-n-Tune day on a short track, about 43 second run for me.

A nice wide open autocross, you can really have some fun there. Also makes you a better street driver.

Great video, that car sure sounds healthy and hugs that course pretty well.

Re: My 1970 Z28 flogged on the Autocross track

Looks like fun. I just got back from Cruisin the Coast in Biloxi. We ran on the autocross on Mon-Wed. I got over 100 runs on a tight course during the 3 days giving spectators rides. Can't do that at many places. Here is a funny ride along Brian Finch did for a local reporter LOL

That video of Brian is great! He is a fantastic driver.
Riding with Brian is like being on a horizontal roller coaster ride!
