Cool 1970 Camaro how much is it worth??

There is this 1970 Camaro sitting in an exgirlfriends mothers garage that ive been drooling over for about a year, title is in the moms name and shes not doing anything with it. I talked to her about buying it and she said shed possibly sell it and told me she has no idea what its worth.

The cars body is cherry and I didn't see any body rust at all and its been garaged since shes had it (18 years) and this is what really drew me to it.. It has not motor or tranny and a bunch of the interior is missing because her ex husband sold it all to make money. What a jackass. I looked under the car and it had little to no rust, maybe a little surface rust but nothing major at all. Its the perfect blank canvas to do whatever I want with and I want to get my hands on it pretty bad..

What do you guys think its worth? What would you pay for it?

Thanks a lot! -Tyler

To determine value 1st establish what it will be worth when restored. The deduct how much it will cost to restore it.

With everything you say is missing I'd ball park $20k for the drivetrain and all the interior work. Add to that any body and paint. Tires, shocks, brake rebuild etc. maybe wiring. Glass? If it does need paint that will be $8-$10k

In the end you could easily spend $25k-$30k or more if you're able to a lot of the work yourself. If you intend to have a shop do the work you can add substantial additional cost.

Without pics or more detailed info maybe $5k or so.

Re: 1970 Camaro how much is it worth??

The market for 1970 Camaros is hot. No motor, no trans, and no interior. Offer her $2k, in cash. If the body is as cherry as you say, it's worth at least twice that.
