Coolant hose diagram

I've tried searching for a coolant hose diagram on a G2 Camaro Z28 with a 350. Can anyone help me out?

The heater fan works. But I'm not getting hot air to the cabin. Apparently, the heater core was replaced once upon a time.

I'd like to have a diagram handy before I tear into the engine bay.

Re: Coolant hose diagram

Generally, its the small hose, 5/8 inch diameter, from intake next to thermostat housing, to smaller nipple on core.
Then larger hose, 3/4 inch diameter, to water pump nipple being horizontal on pump.
All on engine are pass side.
Feel both hoses for warmth.
If both warm, then temperature door in heater is not working.
Does TEMP lever have resistance when moving?
If not, check lever behind panel is not broken and also check movement at other end of cable on heater.
If all moves, door may have become loose from its axis.
Is there air moving in other positions? DEF, FEET, DASH?

Re: Coolant hose diagram

The engine temp gauge in the instrument cluster is stuck on high. This is a separate problem that is likely a faulty gauge. The sending unit changes resistance with the engine cold & hot.

I'll need to double-check the other items you listed. Thanks!

Re: Coolant hose diagram

Good sensor appears to be working.

You might check sensor pigtail and see if any voltage is registering.
No voltage, bad gauge. Let us know what happens.
You could get from the local parts store, a Haynes manual and have some reference material.
