Please help me find my old camaro

Hello everyone and thank you all for letting me be a member of your site. Im looking for my old camaro and need any help possible. Not sure where to began and if anyone has anything that can point me in the direction of my old car please speak up. Its a 1978 camaro. I do have the vin. And all details when i stupidly got rid of it back around 1998-99 in the st louis, mo area. I have no idea where it coukd be nowadays. Thank you all. Mike

Try to Google the VIN and see if anything pops up. Also, if you happen to know a Police Officer, they could run the VIN and find out if it is a registered car. Getting them to do it is a whole nother story.

I had a friend run tbe vin and it showed nothing on file as being registered in mo.

I know the vin is not 17 characters. Does anyone know what your supposed to add to it when u enter the vin into carfax. It keeps telling me not enough characters bc its not 17 total.

I can search every state's registration history for it over the past decade or so, but if it is sitting somewhere and hasn't been registered, I won't find anything.

Unfortunately, at this time, I'm busy and charging for my time unless you can wait a couple weeks at the least.

I'm also looking for my old 1969 Camaro SS396, I have the VIN, plate # and even original window sticker, and have tried Google to no avail, I live in Mass. ?
