Question Help locating a 2001 Camaro Ignition Switch PLEASE!

Can someone please help me to locate the Ignition Switch in a 2001 Camaro? If there is a site you could direct me to or specific instructions you could provide it would be greatly appreciated!

Isn't it on the right side of the steering column?

Not sure about Camaro's but on my 97 Wrangler the ignition lock is on the right side of the column, and the switch is on the left side. Either way, it will be in the column. The key turns the lock which in turn switches the iginition switch on. Do you have a hayne's or chilton's manual. You can stop by any Auto Zone or NAPA and pick one up. It will help you in future repairs as well.

Good Luck,
Rick

Not sure about any thing as new as a 2001 but GM's typically have the lock cylinder in the right side of the column and the switch located under the dash on top of the column, tucked in the brake pedal support making it hard to see and work on with out dropping the column.
