Tune up question...

I have a 1996 Camaro Z28 which is in bad need of a tuneup. I was wondering if anyone knew about how much it would cost to have it tuned up.

Its going to be expensive. I think shops get about 8 hrs for a plug and wire change on a LT1. The plugs are a pain to get to on that car as well as the spark plug wires. If you have enough patience it is something you can accomplish on your own, but I would be prepared to dedicate the weekend to it if you've never done it before.

Re: Tune up question...

Plugs and wires are a b**ch. I highly recommend you have a lift or go to a shop. If you have headers good luck getting plugs.

Last shop charged me like 200 something for changing plugs and putting on the wires I brought. Worth it in my opinion you will spend forever in your driveway.
