Power steering parts question

Hello I've never been on a camaro forum and I am unsure if this will help but I've only ever owned camaros cuz they are my favorite I had a 92 I had to get rid of regrettably but have a 2001 where my power steering pulley just popped out of my power steering pump and the bolt or whatever it's called that runs thru the pulley into the pump is still in my pulley so I need a new one. Does anyone know what this part is called I cannot seem to locate any that I see.

Re: Power steering parts question

Hopefully you've worked this all out by now, but I don't believe that you have a bolt holding the power steering pulley on. I've replaced the pump on my '99 Z28 several times, and the pulley is just pressed onto the pump shaft. You'll need a specific tool to re-install the pulley. Good luck.

Re: Power steering parts question

They are pressed on. The threaded hole in the shaft is for the pulley installer tool.
