Feather-light suspension, Konis just couldn't hold
I'm so glad I took a look inside your showroom doors

Re: 1995 camaro v6 to v8 swap what do i need

If you can find the info there its pretty much the same stuff needed. LT1 engine, wireharness for the engine, not sure if you would want to keep the t5 in there with that engine. If you end up swapping the tranny you'll have to see if the crossmembers are the same as well.

Your looking at a hell of a job. Most people just end up selling the v6 and buying a z28 instead. Probally not to much more in the long run. Especially if your not doing the work.

Good advice but wrong site . Go to www.cz28.com, there are multiple people on that site doing the swap. Do a search on the v6 section and you will find all the help and material you would ever need!

David.

Just to start you out, you'll need a new tranny as that one will die behind the lt-1, a new motor (duh), all the wiring, and maybe radiator swapout? Your driveshaft will also have to be shortened. Motor mounts are different. May need to move your exhaust too.
