69 Convertable - $16500???

Found a supposed 69 SS convertable online for $16,500. I’d like to post some pics and get some feedback.

To a novice it looks like it’s got potential but I’m concerned about the way the hood and trunk look - are they crooked?

I’d like ANY feedback you guys are willing to give.

Re: 69 Convertable - $16500???

Body panels need alignment for sure. What is all included in the price, what does the cowl tag say. Drive train, interior and what is under the primer? Can't give s fair value without more info. As it looks, not worth that kind of $$$ for a rolling body. They all have potential. . . .it just about how much money and time will it take to get it to where you want it and how much work can you do on it.

That’s what I was afraid of. I hadn’t even bothered to ask more information because I was afraid the body work may have been done poorly and might need to be re-done.
