[quote=Keemaca;1783190557]Thought?

Without seeing the cowl tag, I would say that this car is not a bonafide 1969 Z-28.

Re: 69 z

10 bolt, master cylinder, rear bumper guards, and non matching number engine are serious red flags. California built cars the cowl tag doesn't help.

It is Missing a few Z parts for sure. It has been painted, and has an early spoiler. It also has the white paint on the upper cowl that most people don't paint back on. It could be real, but not worth $60K

Re: 69 z

It does have one of those rare carbs … and Z's did not come with A/C and should have a chrome shift knob and fitted with an 12SI alternator and the very rare option of GM ball cap.

Info sheet says non original engine stamped V1015DZ, 10 bolt
Lots of things to prove without original rear and engine and who knows what else.
Im going to say Clone unless a POP or tank sheet shows differently.
Even then lots of missing items here.

May be worth close to half of what he's asking if its got a clean body and runs good.

Re: 69 z

I don't have an issue with the Fan Caution Sticker.

Lots of younger guys never have had their body parts under the hood of a car with a mechanical fan as electrics have been used for like the last 20 years.

The warning, even though not correct to the vehicle, may save a guy his fingers.

Just sayin.
