Cool Noob in Ga

Hello all, I found this site through google search. I searched for info on converting my 68 from throttle linkage to cable and found a good thread here so I joined. Anyway, I have a 68 Camaro trailer queen. Car currently has an iron headed 350 in it being followed by a TCI powerglide w/brake and then a 9" rear to complete the deal. Current setup has a best 1/4 time of 11.39. I have a 468 that will be assembled as soon as I feel the good is gone from the 350. I'm gonna try to get some 10's out of the little guy before retiring it. Anyway, glad to be here.

Re: Noob in Ga

I'll have to get some better pics. The car is in the shop right now getting sheet metal work done. I narrowed the rear to allow me to run 10.5W slicks and had to cut out the wheel wells. I should be getting it back soon. Plus, I added Centerline Convo Pros and went from a "mailbox" type snorkle hood to a 4" cowl induction hood. I haven't got any pics of the way it is now.
