Howdy

I hope all is well with everyone in Camaro Land, I am 45 yrs. old. I bought my first Car when I was 13, a 67 Camaro ( Plain Column shift Powerglide) Then 12 yrs later in Calf. in the Navy I bought another Plain 4spd 67 Camaro, I had both when I was discharged. Traded 1 and sold the other years ago. My son just turned 14 and guess what he wanted. So I found him a beat up, rusted out True numbers matching 67 RS/ SS-350 Powerglide. We repla the floors and upper dash, its curr. in the shop having skins, quarters and rockers replaced.Ive had so much fun I traded my 33 Ford for an all orig, unrestored, numbers match. 68 Z28 Calf car.I guess you could say Im ate up with the 1st gen Camaro. I know I will enjoy this site. reaperZ28

Talking Re: Howdy

Hey Reaper, Welcome, you AND your son will enjoy this site very much. Lots of great first Gen Camaro enthusiasts here. Welcome aboard, we're glad to have you and encourage your son to come on too, he can learn alot right along with you. We'd love to see some pics of your projects and your progress. My Dad was never really into cars like that, I picked it up on my own. Nice to see you passing along your love for first gens along to your son, I'm sure this hobby will keep him busy and out of trouble

All the best

Mike

Re: Howdy

Welcome.......you're very furtunate to have a son interested in cars with you. Mine is almost 12 and follows his mothers lead........why do you want that hunk of junk ??? He likes riding in the 88 and will want to even more so when it comes back from paint. Now if I can just get him to come out in the shop when I'm working on the cars to learn something !!!
